Water Hyacinth Flowers

I was up on the Little Mountain (the one with Jesus Christ Statue) on Christ the King Sunday when I noticed that in a quiet little corner, was 2 small circular basins choked full of water hyacinths and the flowers were in bloom.  The flowers sure lit up my Sunday!

Spider’s Kingdom – Wildlife Wednesday

This is a male spider lurking in the corner of a female’s web.  He’s one of many in the vicinity. With a miniature sort of web under him, he seems to be having his own little kingdom.

Little Mushrooms

I took this on my way to work during my last trip back to Singapore.

It was a difficult shot as you can see the mushrooms are just slightly bigger than the grass blades and I was having difficulty making out the shot on my camera’s LCD in the morning sun.  I was also reluctant to lie down on the ground as I was wearing my work clothes.  This is the best of several shots.
