Honeydew – Cam-Phone Tuesday

Honeydew

In Singapore, I’m used to seeing honeydew as big as my head.  So, imagine my surprise, when I was offered these at the market.  At first, I didn’t recognise them to be honeydew!

Still, they are as sweet as the big ones.

Piety – Cam Phone Tuesday

Was on my way to work yesterday when I saw 2 novice monks guiding their frail elder to the beach to enjoy the morning sun.  The purple car is their transport.

Ho Chi Minh City Skyline – Camphone Tuesday

I went to HCMC for a meeting yesterday.  As usual, before meetings, I would check out the view from the meeting room window.

That’s when I took this vertical panorama of the city (The usual is to do a horizontal shot showing the skyline) as I wanted to show the motorcycle parking lot just right below the office tower.

Da Lat Farmland – Cam Phone Tuesday

This panorama is not completely taken on the iPhone.  I had taken 2 separate photos and then manually stitched them together in Photoshop CS6.  Further adjustments were done in Lightroom 4 to bring it to what I remembered the view looked like.

It is a lot more tedious than just whipping out an iPhone panorama app (of which there are plenty. iOS6 even has the function built-in) and creating a similar photo instantly on the phone.  However, this method provides more control over the final product.
