HDR Sunday – The temple gate

The temple gate, originally uploaded by anthonli.

Beside the One Pillar Pagoda (Chua Mot Cot) in Hanoi, is a shrine and in front of the shrine is a magnificent gate.
I’m sure the layout of this gate made sense in the past, because now, people just enter the shrine through the back, after they’ve visited the Pagoda.

End of July, I took my family (Mum, Aunt and 2 Sisters) to the north of Vietnam for a tour. I finally just managed to go through all the pictures I took, hence the lull in posting, so I can get to start posting them in the weeks to come.
