Travel Thursday – The Esplanade

The Esplanade opened as one of the more controversial architectural works in Singapore, and now belongs to one of the premier landmarks here.
The nickname that the locals give it, the “Durian” remains a common name used, as its spiked roof resembles the famous fruit.
