HDR Sunday – St Joseph’s Cathedral, Ha Noi

Ha Noi 2011, originally uploaded by anthonli.

The St Joseph’s Cathedral in Ha Noi is located in the Old Quarters. It was built in 1886 by the French. It’s a grand and imposing structure, towering over the nearby buildings.
One thing I noticed strange is that even though I came on 9 Jan, which is after Christmastide (Epiphany), The Nativity scene is still displayed outside the church and the church interior is still sports Christmas decoration.
Nonetheless, the interior is as grand as the exterior. Click on the picture to go to my Flickr site which you will be able to see more pictures of the church interior. I’m sure you’ll agree with me.
