People Monday – Water Puppet Performers

Water puppetry is a cultural art from Northern Vietnam. It’s not a common art in the south, except for tourists. Though in fact, this performance that I watched is for tourists too. What I meant was that Water Puppetry was developed in the north and can be found performing around the provinces in the north.
The performers would stand behind the screen and manipulate the puppets. Here they are presenting themselves for the finale.
In this show, I was seated at the last row and the only suitable lense I had was my 50mm f1.4. I did the best I could with the available light and fixed focal length.
