Another not so golden morning at Ha Long, Vung Tau.
For scenery, timing is everything, I was about 15 minutes late for the really “golden” moment, when the sky will be red and gold. Here I only managed to capture the reminiscence of that sunrise, as seen by the golden colour near the horizon.
Then again, the sky has a nice colour. ^_^
For this picture, I used the “Natural” setting in Photomatix during the merging of the pictures and tweaked the colours in Adobe Lightroom. This gives a more realistic look to the picture instead of the typical grunge HDR look. For many photographers, this is true HDR.
