HDR Sunday – KL Petronas Tower

KL Petronas Tower, originally uploaded by anthonli.

It’s a hot and sunny afternoon with the sun in the foreground. This makes its extremely challenging when taking HDR shots.
Because this is handheld, I have to work with 3 shots for HDR for minimal misalignment. Thus 2-stop bracketing was used to get as much of the dynamic range as possible.
I’ll accept accusation that the tone-mapping applied here is overdone, but it serves a purpose of creating surrealism as well as hide a few stitching flaws due to handshake.
