Wildlife Wednesday – Baby Sakura Shrimp

Baby Sakura Shrimp, originally uploaded by anthonli.

Taken with the help of a 4x diopter again.

A young Sakura Shrimp discovered in my colleague’s aquarium, framed here by the stem and leave of an aquatic plant. This baby is really small, only about 1mm long, making this a difficult shot (I rattled off 10 shots just to get this one nice one). Lucky for me, this baby is very docile and very still.

For those interested, the little dots to the right of the leaf are snail eggs.
